Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder, James Maddison has claimed that Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes is underrated.
Maddison said this while praising Fernandes after his brilliant display in Man United’s Premier League 4-1 victory over Wolves on Monday night.
Recall that a brace from Fernandes and a goal each from Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount gave the Red Devils the victory against the hosts at Molineux.
Bruno was at the heart of everything tonight,” Maddison said on Sky Sports. “He is such a top player.
“I actually think Bruno’s underrated. I know he gets his plaudits, but I think he’s underrated for the consistency he shows regularly.
Every time he is on the ball, he can just see it all,” he said.
The victory over Wolves means Man United is now in 6th position on the Premier League table behind Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Arsenal.
