Nigeria’s Flamingos will depart Lagos for Lomé, Togo on Thursday ahead of their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixture against Benin Republic.
The players, and their officials wil arrive Lagos from Ikenne on Thursday morning before boarding a flight from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos to Lomé.
The second leg encounter is slated for the Stade de Kegue, Lomé on Saturday.
Nigeria won the first leg 3-2 at the Remo Stars Sports Complex, Ikenne last weekend.
The winner over the two legs will secure qualification for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026.
The Flamingos will be aiming to qualify for the competition for the ninth time, while the Young Amazons are targeting their first appearance.
