Liverpool’s manager, Arne Slot, said his team were lucky to lose 2-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Reds were outclassed in the first leg of their quarter-final match and stand on the brink of elimination.
Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskheli netted in each half, giving PSG a strong advantage going into the second leg.
However, Slot is confident that Liverpool can turn the tie around at Anfield.
He told TNT Sports: “Looking back at the whole game, I think we’re lucky to only be losing 2-0.
“The first goal was tough to take.
“I think it’s good for us that we’re still in the competition and we know how strong Anfield can be for us.
