They know when to raise it – Steven Gerrard names title winners.

 

Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, has named Paris Saint-Germain as the team to win the Champions League again this season.

Gerrard also named Bayern Munich as his ‘dark horse’ to win the Champions League this season.

Recall that PSG won the Champions League last season, but Gerrard believes the French Ligue 1 side can retain it again this year.

The Englishman compared PSG to Real Madrid over the years, insisting that they know when to raise it.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Gerrard said, “Bayern could be the dark horses this year. They have got everyone back fit now.

In terms of Chelsea, they have just been beaten by who I think will go on to win the tournament.

“I think PSG are like the Madrid over the years, where when it comes down to the Champions League and the big games, they can turn the dial.

“They focus more on the Champions League than the domestic stuff; they just know when to raise it. I think PSG will go on to win it again.”
