Real Madrid defeated by Getafe, fail to cut Barcelona’s four-point lead.

 

Real Madrid failed to reduce Barcelona’s four-point lead at the top of LaLiga after they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Getafe on Monday night.

Barca had established the gap after they beat Villarreal 3-1 on Saturday.

Although Madrid had chances to score, it was Martín Satriano who stunned the Bernabeu with a magnificent volley.

Los Blancos failed to break Getafe down in the second half.

Franco Mastantuono was shown a straight card for dissent, as the game ran away from Madrid.

The visitors were also reduced to 10 men, after Adrian Liso received a second booking in stoppage time.
