Former Arsenal and Barcelona striker, Thierry Henry, has admitted he had problems with coaches like Arsene Wenger and Pep Guardiola during his playing career.
Henry played under Wenger at Arsenal and for Guardiola at Barca.
He was reacting to Mohamed Salah’s bombshell interview that pointed fingers at Liverpool and manager Arne Slot.
Salah claimed he was being “thrown under the bus” by the Reds and did not have a relationship with Slot anymore.
But Henry said on CBS Sports: “I had problems with Wenger, with Guardiola… Have you ever heard me talk about it publicly? Never. I protected the club.
“When you play for a club, you must protect it at all costs.
“No matter what’s happening internally, you protect the club — your teammates, the manager, the staff.
“You can be angry, frustrated, disagree… but you don’t air dirty laundry in public, especially when the club is going through difficult moments.”
