The whole truth will come out" - Disgruntled Heat star Jimmy Butler sends warning shots after return.

There's no question that the hottest NBA storyline this season is the Jimmy Butler situation in Miami. From his Jan. 2 declaration of losing his "joy" to his inclusion in the Heat's Vice jersey promotional campaign, there is plenty to dissect in this back-and-forth between player and organization.

After serving a seven-game suspension for his Jan. 2 comments, Butler returned to action in a home game against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. After the Heat suffered a 133-113 loss, Butler addressed the off-court drama in the postgame interview.

Butler has had no shortage of critics who have spoken out against the way he has conducted himself within the Heat organization. Last week, former Miami star Tim Hardaway Sr. accused Butler of disrespecting Heat President Pat Riley's authority and "trying to sink that ship."

Jimmy Butler put up 18 points on 7-for-15 shooting in a 20-point loss to the Denver Nuggets on Friday. He also chipped in three rebounds and two assists.

In the post-game interview, Butler made it a point to distinguish his off-court issues from his on-court performance alongside his teammates.

If Kevin Love's social media is anything to go by, there could be some truth to Jimmy Butler's comments about not having beef with his teammates.
