Barcelona midfielder leaves Hansi Flick’s squad to join LaLiga rivals.

 

Barcelona midfielder, Oriol Romeu is all set to leave manager Hansi Flick’s USA tour camp to complete a Girona return this summer.

Romeu is not expected to play a regular role for Flick this upcoming 2024/25 season.

Girona are looking to add experience to their squad for a UEFA Champions League campaign.

Romeu has been linked with a move back to Girona since joining Barca at the start of last season.

As per reports from Mundo Deportivo, Romeu will rejoin Girona on loan for the 2024/25 season, with the LaLiga club paying his full salary.
